Job Description

A family partner location is seeking a Partner Veterinarian to lead the team and play a vital role in reimagining pet care at a well-established center in New Milford, CT. This position offers the autonomy to guide the hospital’s future while also providing the opportunity to buy in and co-own up to 49% of the practice. The ideal candidate is client-focused, deeply values the human-animal bond, and is passionate about implementing low-stress handling techniques in patient care. A strong commitment to building relationships within the local community, adaptability in an evolving veterinary landscape, and a minimum of two years of clinical experience in a companion animal practice are essential. As the primary leader of the pet center, the Partner Veterinarian oversees the team and all services provided, ensuring compliance with state practice regulations and organizational standards. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality veterinary care, leading day-to-day operations with a pet- and client-centered approach, and driving the success of the practice. In addition to mentoring associate veterinarians, the Partner Veterinarian serves as a resource for other pet centers within the network, promotes top-quality preventive care, fosters strong client relationships, and effectively utilizes available technologies to enhance communication and patient care.
