Job summary

Andreessen Horowitz in San Francisco looks for a Compliance Analyst to own regulatory requirements across the firm's core compliance needs. You will work with HR, Operations, and Finance to build controls, administer ethics, and support annual regulatory filings.

The role requires in-office presence 2 days a week in Menlo Park or San Francisco, CA, and involves oversight of external consultants, with reporting to the Deputy Chief Compliance Officer.

Qualifications

• Must have bachelor’s degree; Graduate Degree (JD) or equivalent (CFA), a plus
• Must have 3-5 years of experience in financial services
• Extensive experience working in regulatory compliance with registered investment advisers
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Self-starter with positive outlook and desire to solve problems

Responsibilities

• Work cross-functionally with HR, Operations, Finance and others to build controls meeting regulatory requirements
• Assist in administration of the Firm’s Code of Ethics
• Operationalize compliance tasks to scale the program
• Analyze potential material non-public information to maintain the Firm’s restricted list and information barriers
• Collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization
• Design and administer regular firm-wide compliance training
• Identify and document compliance issues and help resolve breaches
