National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives seeks a Junior Associate for a boutique disability law firm in Phoenix. Responsibilities include client meetings, case analysis, and drafting briefs for the SSA, with representation at 10–20 hearings per month across the state.
The candidate must have bar admission in any state. SSA experience is preferred, but willingness to learn and strong teamwork, writing, and advocacy skills are essential.

Expected tasks include handling new client meetings, analyzing cases for strengths and weaknesses, drafting briefs on behalf of clients for the Social Security Administration, representing clients by appearing in 10-20 hearings per month before the Social Security Administration, drafting Appeals Council briefs, collaborating with legal assistants, case managers and other staff to gain a full appreciation of the client’s case, participating in discussions and mock oral arguments to prepare for court.
Bar admission in any state is required. Social Security experience preferred, but will consider an inexperienced candidate who demonstrates the following:
