Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke is seeking a detail-oriented Partner Recruiting Assistant to support the Partner Recruiting team across offices. You will schedule interviews, arrange travel, onboard new hires, and prepare meeting materials while maintaining calendars and confidentiality.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of recruiting or administrative experience, with strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Enter detailed applicant interview data into the firm’s applicant tracking system (VI/WAVE).
  • Assist with general administrative duties.

The Partner Recruiting Assistant provides administrative and project support to the Partner Recruiting team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist with arranging and scheduling lateral partner candidate interviews and meetings across offices, including maintaining calendars and appointment schedules, booking conference rooms, and preparing meeting materials as needed.
  • Assist with travel arrangements and related expense invoices for lateral partner candidates and team members.
  • Assist with arranging and scheduling lateral partner onboarding and orientation.
  • Enter detailed applicant interview data into the firm’s applicant tracking system (VI/WAVE).
  • Assist with general administrative duties.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Ability to work well with internal and external clients.
  • Strong organizational skills, problem solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Office (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Sound judgment, as well as the ability to maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions with internal and external contacts on all levels.
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Able to maintain a high level of quality and accuracy, especially on tight deadlines.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of recruiting or administrative experience.
