Primary Purpose:

The Partner Manager, Delivery Partnerships supports the execution and management of third-party vendor relationships across Marketplace and White Label Delivery, focusing on accountability and day-to-day partnership with all 3rd Party delivery partners. This role drives operational excellence, aligns delivery initiatives with strategic goals, and contributes to significant revenue and delivery volume. Responsibilities include managing partner performance, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and SLAs, supporting process optimization, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to meet organizational and customer service goals.

Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at a core location in Chicago, IL, and 2 remote days. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. full-time.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Partnership Management: Serve as the primary contact for delivery partners, fostering collaboration, enforcing accountability, and exploring growth opportunities.
  • Partner Expertise: Develop understanding of performance metrics, technical functionality, and integration details to provide strategic insights.
  • Brand Advocacy: Act as subject matter expert for grocery brands, aligning delivery initiatives with their goals and ensuring SLA compliance.
  • Operational Oversight: Monitor performance, address operational issues, and implement improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and efficiency.
  • Weekly Business Reviews: Lead review meetings with brands and partners to discuss performance, metrics, and improvement strategies.
  • Contract Management and Negotiation: Support contract management, ensuring alignment with business objectives and SLA adherence.
  • Organizational and Presentation Skills: Maintain organization, meet deadlines, and communicate insights effectively.
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute to building a collaborative and growth-oriented department culture.
Qualifications:
  • 3-4 years of experience in retail or eCommerce, managing vendor relationships, ideally in the Gig Economy.
  • Proven ability to manage SLAs, refunds, and ensure high delivery standards.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and implement data-driven improvements.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure and adapt to industry trends.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% for business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience working with GIG Delivery Partners.
