What You Will Do - Essential Functions

The Clinical L&D Partner plays a crucial role in enhancing the professional skills and knowledge of our clinical staff and supporting the delivery of high-quality care by developing, implementing and evaluating educational training and programs that support clinical practice and patient care outcomes. The Clinical L&D Partner will support the growth, complexity and evolving clinical and operational needs of our healthcare organization. The role requires a skilled communicator, educator, and collaborator with a passion for clinical excellence and continuous learning.

  • Training Development and Delivery
    • Develop and deliver clinical education programs including workshops, e-learning modules, webinars, and simulations.
    • Develop job aids and continuing education courses tailored to various clinical roles and learning styles.
    • Assess the educational needs of staff and create customized training plans and content based on diverse learning styles and clinical roles.
  • Clinical Support and Partnership
    • In partnership with clinical leaders, provide support and guidance to clinical staff to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development. Partner with clinical leaders to enhance clinical onboarding and time-to-productivity.
    • Maintain and update all clinical learning paths for the clinical teams Provider, CSM, Medical Director, RN, CHW for both the longitudinal and clinical teams.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Quality Improvement
    • Ensure that all educational programs comply with relevant regulations, standards, and accreditation requirements.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal learning outcomes based on feedback and outcomes.
  • Alignment with corporate Learning & Development standards
    • Collaborate with L&D Partners and SMEs to assess, facilitate, and evaluate innovative learning solutions in various formats ranging from live in-person, to virtual, to eLearning.
    • Collaborate with L&D Partners to create, implement, review, and report on learner evaluations (Kirkpatrick’s Levels 1, 2, 3, 4).
    • Ensure data driven methods to assess and measure outcomes related to learning solutions delivery
Who You Are

  • Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in nursing, health education, or related clinical field or comparable experience
    • 3+ years’ of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
    • 3+ years’ experience with training content development, clinical education, precepting, or instructional roles
    • 1+ years’ experience with virtual facilitation and remote learning solutions delivery
    • 1+ years’ experience with eLearning development tools such as Articulate 360 (Storyline and/or Rise), Camtasia, Adobe Photoshop, Captivate, or similar
    • Proficiency in using and managing LMS content.
    • Demonstrated work history illustrating knowledge of adult learning theories and ADDIE process
    • Strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
    • Excellent attention to detail in grammar and punctuation, visual design and layout, audio accuracy, and effective presentation
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Word, Excel) with added emphasis on adhering to organizational brand standards
    • Experience with EMRs/EHRs
    • Passionate about employee development and organizational learning

    • Clinical Expertise: Deep understanding of clinical workflows, evidence-based practices, and patient care standards and ability to translate complex clinical concepts into accessible, applicable training material
  • Working Conditions
    • Physical demands include constant ability to remain in a stationary position, able to communicate and exchange information with others, able to inspect information, able to perform repetitive motion with arms and fingers, and travel as needed for in-person training delivery.
    • Mental demands include constant ability to interpret data, problem solve, make decisions, and organize and plan.
    • Work is performed indoors in a remote, home-setting or typical office environment - not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
    • Frequent exposure to VDT screens, video calling, headphones, and computers
