Job summary

Jobot is partnering with a nationally recognized law firm seeking a Partner-level attorney to support the strategic expansion of its New York City office. This is a permanent, high-impact opportunity for an experienced attorney with a portable book of business.

You will advise on insurance coverage and professional liability, lead trial preparation, mentor junior lawyers, and help grow the firm’s East Coast presence within a collaborative, cross-office platform.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Significant portable book of business and ability to transition to Partner.
• Proven track record as Partner or capability to take on Partner role.
• Extensive experience in professional defense, D&O and E&O insurance.
• Strong portable business with client attraction and retention.
• Solid knowledge of insurance law and current developments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and mentoring of junior lawyers.
• Admission to the NY State Bar.

Qualifications

• 1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• 2. A minimum of 500k in portable business
• 3. A proven track record as a Partner, or proven ability and book to transition into a Partner role.
• 4. Significant experience in professional defense, with a particular focus on D&O and E&O insurance services.
• 5. A substantial portable business, demonstrating a proven ability to attract and retain clients.
• 6. Comprehensive knowledge of insurance law, and a commitment to staying informed about developments in the field.
• 7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
• 8. Strong leadership skills, with a commitment to mentoring junior associates and contributing to the firm's strategic direction.
• 9. Admission to the NY State Bar.
