Job summary

Jobot client in NYC seeks a Partner or Senior Counsel to join the Bankruptcy and Commercial Litigation team. The role leads litigation strategy, from discovery to appeal, while advising clients on complex matters and mentoring junior attorneys.

The ideal candidate has a JD, active bar in good standing, and at least 10 years of trial experience, with a strong track record in complex litigation and negotiations.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in trial practice with a track record of success in complex litigation.

Responsibilities

• Taking the lead in litigation cases, managing all aspects from strategy development, discovery, trial, settlement negotiations, and appeal.
• Providing expert legal advice to clients on complex litigation matters, ensuring their interests are protected.
• Collaborating with a team of attorneys to develop and implement winning litigation strategies.
• Representing the firm and its clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal services.
• Participating in business development activities, including networking events, seminars, and conferences.
• Mentoring and developing junior attorneys, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

Salary: $200,000 - $400,000 per year
