Job summary

Coastal is seeking a Partner ICFR Analyst to support its ICFR program by documenting partner controls and executing targeted testing when gaps are identified. You will understand control objectives, develop testing procedures, evaluate evidence, and help determine whether gaps are adequately addressed.

The role collaborates with the Fintech Financial Controls Manager and partner risk teams. The ideal candidate has a strong background in internal controls, SOX/ICFR, COSO, and testing, with 5+

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of internal controls over financial reporting and control testing concepts.
• Working knowledge of SOX, ICFR, and the COSO framework.
• Ability to translate an identified control or assurance gap into practical, risk-based testing procedures.
• Experience performing internal control testing, including evidence evaluation and test documentation.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document partner controls relevant to Coastal’s ICFR requirements and map those controls to Coastal’s Partner ICFR Framework.
• Maintain partner ICFR control inventories, testing documentation, gap tracking, and supporting evidence.
• Receive identified control or assurance gaps and determine the testing scope and objective.
• Develop and perform targeted alternative testing procedures.
• Perform walkthroughs of controls to understand design and operation.
• Obtain and evaluate evidence supporting control design and effectiveness.
• Prepare testing workpapers with period, population, evidence, results, exceptions and conclusions.
• Identify deficiencies and elevation of concerns to the Fintech Financial Controls Manager.
• Track remediation of testing exceptions and perform follow-up testing.
