Job summary

Coastal is seeking an ICFR Analyst to support partner internal controls over financial reporting. You will document controls, conduct targeted testing, and evaluate evidence to address identified gaps, coordinating with risk and testing teams to ensure gaps are remediated.

The role requires a strong SOX/ICFR background, COSO knowledge, and the ability to translate gaps into practical testing procedures for fintech partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 5+ years in ICFR, SOX, internal controls or related testing functions.
• Experience translating control gaps into testing procedures.
• Familiarity with SOC 1/2, CUECs, ITGCs, and risk-based testing approaches.

Responsibilities

• Document partner controls and map to ICFR framework.
• Maintain control inventories, testing docs, and evidence packages.
• Test targeted controls and evaluate design/operating effectiveness.
• Prepare workpapers with evidence, populations, samples, and conclusions.
• Identify deficiencies and track remediation until closure.
• Coordinate with risk and testing teams for SOC/ITGC/CUEC matters.
• Communicate status and potential financial impacts to management.
