Job summary

DLA is seeking a Partner for Financial Investigations to lead complex engagements and grow a national forensics practice within the FVLS team. You will drive engagement leadership, provide strategic guidance to senior executives, and mentor a team of forensic accounting professionals.

The role emphasizes advisory work with attorneys and boards, along with developing expert reports and business development to expand the practice.

Qualifications

• CPA required; forensic or valuation credentials preferred.
• Extensive experience in financial investigations or disputes.
• Strong leadership and client-facing presence.
• Proven success advising legal counsel and senior executives.
• Clear, persuasive written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead expansion of financial investigations capabilities through hands-on leadership.
• Analyze accounting records, financial statements, and solvency in complex disputes.
• Develop expert reports and litigation support materials.
• Direct forensic data analysis across ERP systems.
• Advise attorneys, boards, and executive leadership.
• Oversee engagement economics, billing, and realization.
• Mentor forensic accounting professionals.
• Generate business aligned to disputes and investigations.
