KARM Stores is seeking a relationship-focused Partner Engagement Manager to join our Engagement department. This role builds relationships with churches, nonprofits, businesses, and community partners to expand community involvement and coordinate volunteer opportunities.

As a partner ambassador, you’ll collaborate with store leadership and other departments to support ministry initiatives, speak at events, and promote Christ-centered mission through outreach programs like Corners of Your Field.

About the Role

KARM Stores is seeking a relationship-focused Partner Engagement Manager to join our Engagement department.

The Partner Engagement Manager develops and strengthens relationships with churches, nonprofit organizations, businesses, and community partners that support KARM Stores' mission. This role helps expand community involvement by coordinating volunteer opportunities, supporting outreach efforts, and creating meaningful engagement opportunities that connect community partners with KARM Stores.

The Partner Engagement Manager will serve as an ambassador for KARM Stores, working collaboratively with internal departments and external partners to strengthen relationships, support ministry initiatives, and expand participation in programs such as Corners of Your Field.

Most importantly, this role helps advance KARM Stores' Christ-centered mission by building meaningful relationships, demonstrating Christlike character, and connecting community partners with opportunities to serve others.

What You'll Do

Community Partnership & Relationship Management

• Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with churches, nonprofit organizations, businesses, and community partners.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned partners through timely, compassionate, and professional communication.
• Coordinate engagement opportunities that connect volunteers, community partners, and KARM Stores locations.
• Collaborate with store leadership and internal departments to support partner activities and ministry initiatives.
• Assist with communication materials, promotional resources, and gift card distribution to strengthen community partnerships.
• Identify opportunities to deepen relationships and increase community participation in KARM Stores' mission.

Community Outreach & Program Development

• Adapt engagement strategies based on partner needs, organizational priorities, and community opportunities.
• Gather feedback from partners, volunteers, and internal departments to strengthen engagement efforts and improve support.
• Develop and implement relationship-building strategies, engagement tools, and communication practices that enhance partner experiences.
• Support speaking engagements, community presentations, church visits, and outreach events that promote KARM Stores' mission.
• Encourage participation in partnership initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to expand community awareness, strengthen partnerships, and increase participation in ministry programs.

Program Coordination & Operational Excellence

• Maintain accurate records of partner engagement activities, communications, meetings, and participation.
• Coordinate partner schedules, requests, volunteer opportunities, and organizational commitments with accuracy and professionalism.
• Maintain calendars, databases, reports, and engagement metrics to support departmental planning and decision-making.
• Ensure timely follow-through on commitments while maintaining consistent communication with partners and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor engagement activities and identify opportunities to improve processes, communication, and partner support.
• Support departmental initiatives that strengthen volunteer engagement, community outreach, and ministry impact.

Organizational Collaboration & Ministry Support

• Partner with the Director of Engagement, Volunteer Engagement Manager, Marketing, Operations, Retail, and other departments to coordinate engagement opportunities.
• Build collaborative relationships across the organization to ensure community partnerships are supported effectively.
• Represent KARM Stores professionally at community events, churches, nonprofit meetings, and outreach activities.
• Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, stewardship, and Christlike character in every interaction.
• Promote a welcoming, mission-centered culture that reflects the values and ministry of KARM Stores.
• Support organizational priorities and ministry initiatives through teamwork, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in community engagement, nonprofit organizations, volunteer coordination, customer relations, ministry, or a related field.
• Strong relationship-building, networking, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple partnerships, priorities, and schedules simultaneously.
• Strong customer service and community engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple departments.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Commitment to supporting and advancing the Christ-centered mission and values of KARM Stores.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Nonprofit Management, Business, Marketing, Ministry, or a related field.
• Experience developing community partnerships, coordinating outreach initiatives, or managing external relationships.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office technology.
• Experience supporting volunteer engagement, community outreach, or nonprofit ministry initiatives.

Physical & Work Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Regularly travel between KARM Stores locations, churches, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and community events.
• Stand, walk, sit, and present for extended periods during meetings and community events.
• Occasionally lift and carry outreach materials, displays, and event supplies weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Operate computers and standard office technology for extended periods.
• Work occasional evenings and weekends to support community events, outreach opportunities, and ministry activities.

Schedule

Full-Time | MondayFriday | 40+ hours per week

Occasional evening hours, weekend commitments, and travel are required based on business needs and community engagement opportunities.
