Job summary

ERM is seeking a senior leader to grow our electric transmission advisory practice across the West and nationally. As a Partner, you will shape strategy, expand client relationships with utilities, developers, and transmission owners, and lead major projects from concept through construction.

You will guide regulatory strategy, NEPA/EA/EIS, routing and permitting, and mentor multidisciplinary teams while expanding ERM’s thought leadership in grid modernization and siting.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in transmission siting, routing, permitting, or regulatory strategy.
• Strong relationships with utilities, developers, or transmission owners.
• Experience delivering complex capital projects in the Power sector on the West Coast.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑impact consulting services.
• Grow a portfolio of transmission clients aligned with ERM’s strategy.
• Generate multi‑million‑dollar revenue through siting, NEPA/EA/EIS, routing, permitting, and compliance work.
• Contribute to ERM’s North America leadership team and strategic agenda.
• Champion ERM’s technical excellence and thought leadership in the power sector.
