Job summary

Kronospan is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a diversified range of duties including installation, repairs, and preventive/predictive maintenance on the company's equipment and systems.

The role requires troubleshooting, process improvements, and the ability to work overtime as needed. Candidates should have strong electrical and mechanical knowledge and be comfortable working at heights and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy manufacturing maintenance.
• Able to read and comprehend mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Experience performing advanced preventive maintenance procedures.
• Ability to work with others to identify and solve complex manufacturing problems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work at heights exceeding 30 feet with ladders/platforms.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and perform preventive/predictive maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and restore operation.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and reliability.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of staff and supervisors.
