Job summary

SELF is seeking a Participant Advocate Supervisor in Philadelphia, PA, responsible for directing and evaluating the team’s performance. This role includes supervising participants, ensuring compliance with facility rules, and managing critical documentation.

Ideal candidates will possess a high school diploma and experience in human services. Strong organizational skills and communication abilities are essential. This full-time position involves shifts from 3p-11p.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent with acceptable training and experience in human services.
• Must be able to frequently stand, walk, sit, bend, and lift supplies that weigh between 25-50 lbs.
• Must be competent in computer use, including Microsoft applications and the internet.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the participants in conduct, personal hygiene, chores, and compliance with facility rules.
• Conduct facility checks before assuming responsibility and noting deficiencies during the shift.
• Monitor participant activities including body searches and securing the facility.
