Job summary

Peoria Park District's Peoria Zoo is seeking a part-time Coordinator – Peoria Zoo Membership to support membership growth and retention. Under the Director of Development, you will identify candidate members, prepare renewal materials, and assist at events to promote zoo memberships.

Strong data entry, customer service, and nonprofit fundraising experience are preferred. An Associate’s degree is preferred; familiarity with Raiser’s Edge/Blackbaud and Microsoft Office is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred; relevant experience considered.
• At least 1 year in fundraising, sales, membership, or data entry preferred.
• Knowledge of not-for-profit or government settings is a plus.
• Proficient in English grammar, spelling, and office procedures.

Responsibilities

• Identify members for higher levels of membership and for reducing lapses.
• Set measurable goals for membership attraction and retention.
• Plan and coordinate member events.
• Maintain membership records and renewal materials.
