Job summary

The University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, invites applications for part-time, non-tenured teaching positions in the School of Social Work. Qualifications

  • Master's degree in related field is required.
  • Knowledge of the course content area is required.
  • Training/Teaching experience is required.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, orally and in written work is required.
  • Must be able to meet at the assigned class time, schedule office hours, and meet with School of Social Work personnel as necessary for the preparation and delivery of the course.
  • Evidence of attention to diverse identities in teaching or professional experience, and the commitment to support the University's work in diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Responsibilities

  • Attend class meetings and deliver course content.
  • Evaluate student performance and submit grading.
  • Respond to student inquiries and meet with students.
  • Meet with appropriate faculty and gather information as needed for course content and syllabus creation.
