Boys- Youth Development Professional position at Jacksonville is designed to help youth ages 6 to 18 develop physical fitness, life skills, and positive leisure habits in a safe, inclusive environment. You will plan and run a variety of sports and recreation programs, coach teams, recruit youth, and work with staff to deliver programs throughout the school year.

Hours are afternoons, 2:00 PM–7:00 PM, Monday through Friday; a high school diploma or GED is required, and a background check is

• Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior issues
• Ability to work with the public
• Ability to plan and implement quality programs specific to Sport and Recreation
• Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment

Responsabilidades

• Planning and implementing a variety of sports and recreation programs for members of all ages, including Triple Play, Play Ball, RBI, ALL STARS, Jr. RBI, & Play Breaks.
• Recruiting and retaining youth for sports programs
• Working with other staff in the club to help implement these programs throughout the school year
• Coaching teams in Boys & Girls Clubs leagues
