Job summary

North Dakota Court System is seeking a Youth Coordinator to provide services to youth and families during involvement with Juvenile Court. The role works with assigned youth identified by the Juvenile Court Supervisor and entails evening/weekend hours, with some weekday hours as necessary.

This 20-hour-per-week, part‑time, temporary position offers mileage reimbursement and opportunities for internships with university approval.

Qualifications

• Must maintain confidentiality and follow set rules.
• Strong reading/relaying of instructions and basic communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work with youth and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist in arranging transportation for court meetings, hearings, and services.
• Support youth in seeking employment and exposure to positive activities.
• Assist with college applications, GED, or other training programs.
• Mentor positive relationship models and connect families with culturally relevant services.
• Maintain case management documentation and report neglect or abuse as required.
