Job summary

The Juvenile Court Youth Coordinator position within the North Dakota Court System offers a part-time, temporary role of about 20 hours per week with evening and weekend hours. Qualifications

• Confidentiality is required and must be maintained.

• Able to read, understand and relay instructions accurately.
• Easily builds rapport and communicates with youth and families kindly and cooperatively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with youth and families.

Responsibilities

• Provides services to youth and families during involvement with the Juvenile Court.
• Coordinates with assigned youth as identified by the Juvenile Court Supervisor.
• Assists with accessing transportation for court meetings, hearings, and services.
• Assists in seeking and obtaining employment.
• Supports youth with college applications, GED, job corps or other training.
• Mentors positive relationship models and connects youth/families with relevant programs.
