Zusammenfassung

Winfield Park District is seeking a Part-time Childcare Aide to assist with activities, homework support, and supervision of participants aged 3–13. Under the direction of the Childcare Supervisor, you will help run daily programs from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, totaling about 12 hours per week.

This non-exempt, at-will position offers hourly pay of $16.00–$18.00. Responsibilities include leading activities, maintaining records, ensuring safety, and collaborating with school

Qualifikationen

• At least 16 years of age.
• One year of experience working with children, preferred.
• Ability to effectively work with children ages 3 – 13 years old.
• CPR, AED and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain this certification within one month of employment.

Aufgaben

• Perform tasks within policies and safety manuals.
• Attend staff meetings and in-service training sessions.
• Provide direct leadership of daily activities, events, and participants.
• Maintain current and accurate records.
• Cooperate with co-workers, WDSRA Inclusion staff and Winfield School staff.
• Provide a warm and caring atmosphere for participants.
• Address participant behavior issues and report problems to Recreation Coordinator.
• Responsible for activity and room preparations and keeping the room neat and orderly.
• Follow and enforce all safety policies.
