Job summary

Koinonia Family Services is seeking a part-time Mental Health Support Worker for our adolescent residential program in Loomis. The role involves supervising youth, coordinating with social workers, and supporting daily activities in a trauma-informed setting.

Starting wage is $22.00 to $24.00 per hour, with PTO accrual, holiday premium pay, and a 401(k) plan. Must be at least 21 years old and have experience with youth or a relevant degree/certification.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and able to meet state requirements.
• Experience working with youth (including coaching, tutoring, mentoring, daycare, volunteering or school) OR a bachelor's degree OR teaching certificate OR Alcohol and Other Drug certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise youth, transportation, and role model positive adult behavior.
• Participate with social workers and youth in group and individual therapy sessions.
• Prepare paperwork and reports; perform routine household and grounds maintenance when needed.
