Job summary

The Montgomery Village location of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley is seeking a Part-Time Youth Development Associate to lead hands-on activities, plan weekly lessons, and foster growth, learning, and connection among youth.

You will work with a supportive team to supervise, plan, and participate in activities, meals, and events. Applicants must be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, pass background checks, and may obtain CPR certification post-hire.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of youth experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ and pass background checks.
• CPR certification offered post-hire.

Responsibilities

• Post weekly plans for parents/guardians and youth.
• Encourage full participation in activities.
• Supervise and monitor program areas for youth safety.
• Attend staff meetings and collaborate with the Club team.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization per standards.
• Provide meals to youth per USDA guidelines.
• Provide mild disciplinary action as needed.
• Supervise youth on school buses.
• Attend programs, field trips, and events.
• Create bulletin boards for youth and orient volunteers.
