Job summary

Willamalane is seeking an Activity Leader for Youth Programs to implement age-appropriate curriculum for preschool to kindergarten children. The role requires supervising children, ensuring safety, and assisting with snacks and activities in the afternoons.

Ideal candidates will have basic first aid/CPR knowledge, strong communication with parents, and the ability to manage classroom dynamics in a recreational setting.

Qualifications

• Some knowledge of behavior management of school-age children; planning and implementing recreational and educational activities for school-age children.
• Skills include first aid and CPR; leading activities for children.
• Abilities to work with children, parents and staff and provide clear instructions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor participant safety with attendance, supervision and head counts.
• Supervise and assist children in recreation activities; lead and direct activities.
• Assist with program activities and projects; prepare site and cleanup as directed.
• Respond to questions from parents and inform them of progress.
• Maintain daily program schedule and safety of the site.
