Federal Express Corporation in Minnesota is seeking a Switcher/Package Handler to move trailers and handle packages. You will perform yard switching, connect with management to coordinate trailer movements, and document moves using yard systems or switcher cards.

The role involves loading/unloading, lifting and sorting packages with safety and efficiency. Expected shifts are early morning, Monday through Friday, 5:00am to 9:00am, with a pay rate of $20.75 to $22.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver1 s license and maintain a DOT file.
• Ability to understand and follow safety instructions and procedures.
• Ability to discern numbers and information to sort packages correctly.
• Experience with hand-held scanners, dock carts, and unloading devices is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Moves trailers between yard and doors, coordinating with management to direct trailer movement.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Documents trailer moves using Yard Management System or switcher cards.
• Loads and unloads packages as required, lifting and sorting packages.
• Maintains safety practices for yard operations and package handling.
