Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Part Time X Ray Image Evaluation in Indianapolis, IN. This role supports access screening, protects entry points, and helps deter incidents in a logistics and distribution setting.

You will interact professionally with employees and visitors, maintain a visible presence, and communicate observations clearly. Flexible scheduling via the Claim a Shift platform is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• X-ray screening experience preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law and company policy.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and team members by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or belongings entering designated logistics and distribution areas in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry into restricted areas, reporting unauthorized access attempts and suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, facility grounds, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
