Job summary

Chico State Enterprises' Northern California Writing Project is seeking a part-time teacher consultant to manage, develop, and facilitate professional development projects on the Chico State Campus in a hybrid work environment.

Ideal candidate has at least two years of teaching experience, strong communication and writing skills, and the ability to work independently. Duties include designing workshops, coordinating teams, and delivering both remote and on-site professional development for NCWP.

Qualifications

• At least two years of teaching experience (K-16 or higher).
• Completion of the Northern California Writing Project Summer Institute.
• Experience preparing and delivering effective written and oral reports.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to manage work plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively.

Responsibilities

• Meet with educators to support implementation of writing practices.
• Deliver engaging professional learning experiences aligned with standards.
