Job summary

Piedmont Post Acute, a PACS facility in Piedmont, SC, is seeking a dedicated Wound Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team on a part-time basis. You will assess, treat, monitor, and document wounds while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to promote healing and resident well-being.

The ideal candidate is an experienced RN with SC license and CPR certification, strong assessment and documentation skills, and a compassionate, resident-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience with wound care preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive skin and wound assessments.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized wound care treatment plans.
• Monitor and document wound healing progress and treatment effectiveness.
• Perform wound care treatments and dressing changes as ordered.
• Educate nursing staff on wound prevention, skin integrity, and treatment protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members regarding wound care needs.
