Qualifications

• Master’s degree in history or a closely-related field.

Responsibilities

• Teach Modern World History (HIST 117) and 20th century World History (HIST 114) at the Rockville campus.
• Engage students in a technology-rich environment.
• Grade and provide timely feedback to monitor progress.
• Complete required professional training.
• Follow department chair guidelines to ensure course objectives are met.
• Communicate promptly with students and department chair.
• Meet deadlines for midterm and final grades.
• Perform other duties as assigned by department chair.
