Marketplace Chaplains in Newark, Delaware is seeking a part-time Chaplain to provide spiritual care to employees and their families at client sites. The role involves weekly visits, offering confidential pastoral support, and acting as a liaison between employees and client companies.

Candidates should be comfortable working in an interfaith setting, demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in an interfaith setting.
• Ability to listen and interact with clients, employees, and families.
• Spiritual maturity and Christian lifestyle commitment.
• Diplomacy and customer service in diverse groups.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Computer proficiency with Google Suites or Microsoft Office.
• Valid state driver’s license and state minimum auto insurance.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsabilités

• Visit sites weekly to build relationships with employees.
• Provide confidential pastoral discussions and referrals.
• Coordinate with clients on care and support services.
• Assist in planning or attending funerals when needed.
• Offer resources and literature to employees and families.
• Represent ministry services to clients.
• Support new employee orientation about Employee Care Service.
• Collaborate with executives to fulfill client needs.
