Job summary

The United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County (UWABC) is seeking a Part-Time Campaign Associate to support fundraising strategies within the Resource Development team. You will manage a portfolio of workplace accounts, engage employees and organizations, and help meet UWABC’s campaign goals.

This 10–11 week position runs September 8 through November 19, with hours up to 20 per week, primarily in-office in Asheville, NC, and occasional remote work up to 15%.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate degree or 2+ years in fundraising/relationship-building.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet campaign deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of workplace accounts and campaigns.
• Present to employees and corporate audiences to solicit contributions.
• Coordinate tasks across Resource Development and events.
• Represent UWABC at campaign events and donor engagements.
• Maintain accurate donor profiles in CRM and report on progress.
