Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking Store Team Members in San Marcos, CA. You will maximize product inventory, support online orders, and assist with in-store and curbside pickup. Internally, you will be referred to as Merchandiser and report to the store management team.

You will greet customers, build relationships, and inform them about products and services while maintaining safety and compliance. This role offers training, discounts, and a path for growth within Total Wine & More.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience; 1+ year retail preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product inventory, including processing freight, stocking merchandise, and building displays.
• Greet customers and provide personalized service to drive sales.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Load and deliver orders safely if delivery is an essential function.
