Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Wellness Coach in Atlanta for a part-time role (20 hours/week) with an on-site primary location and option for remote work. The role focuses on individual wellness coaching, lifestyle change support, and member engagement via telephonic/virtual visits.

The ideal candidate has NBC-HWC certification preferred and will assist members in setting goals, promoting healthy habits, and sustaining behavior change. Schedule is Monday through Friday, with evenings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of health-related education/experience.
• NBC-HWC certification preferred.
• Residency in primary location Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities

• Presents and educates on health education programs and services.
• Coordinate and deliver trainings or educational encounters; help analyze data from classes and programs.
• Identify member needs and tailor teaching to diverse learning styles.
• Collect, analyze and report data for course progress and initiatives.
• Educate and train members with evidence-based information and resources.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Counseling, Education, Psychology, Nursing, Nutrition or a directly related field
