Job summary

Calibrate is seeking an experienced coach to empower members to improve relationships with food, sleep, exercise, and emotional health. The role emphasizes accountability, goal setting, and delivering an exceptional member experience across channels.

This part-time position is 25 hours per week with shifts 10am-3pm PST or 1pm-6pm PST, Monday–Friday, at a rate of $20 per hour. Remote work is supported, with a focus on compassionate, solution-oriented service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional work experience required.
• At least 2 years of coaching experience, or 1 year plus coaching certification (NBHWC preferred).
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; patient, personable, and kind across channels.
• Ability to work remotely with strong computer skills (Google Suite, Slack, video conferencing).

Responsibilities

• Implement core coaching competencies to inspire and support members throughout their lifestyle journey.
• Engage, support, and retain members by building rapport, empathy, and consistent, compassionate service.
• Ensure quality member experiences across channels (asynchronous messaging, phone, live chat) within guidelines.
• Handle inbound member calls professionally and provide accurate responses.
• Assist members with inquiries, verify information, process updates, and navigate multiple systems.
• Proactively identify member needs by asking questions and researching issues.
• Contribute to achieving service level agreements through collaboration with team and leadership.
• Model Calibrate values in every member interaction.
• Personalize the program by setting relevant, incremental goals for each member.
• Actively listen to empower motivation and sustainable habit change.
• Use engagement metrics to support member goals and outcomes.
• Apply company policies to resolve issues with precision and care.
• Provide accurate information using appropriate tools and seek support when needed.
• Escalate concerns to coach leadership when necessary and de‑escalate dissatisfied members.
• Maintain thorough documentation of interactions and next steps.
