Job summary

The YMCA of the Roses is seeking a friendly and dependable Part-Time Wellness Attendant to provide exceptional member service, maintain a safe Wellness Center, and encourage healthy lifestyles. This role averages 20 hours per week and reports to the Wellness Director or Coordinator.

As a Welcome Attendant you will greet members by name, assist with equipment use, monitor facility safety, perform routine cleaning, and participate in trainings to uphold YMCA values and high standards of service.

Qualifications

• CPR PRO/AED/First Aid certification required or within 3 months of hire.
• Ability to work well with people and maintain a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of strength training and cardio equipment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Greet members by name and provide friendly assistance.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming Wellness Center environment.
• Monitor equipment use and enforce Wellness Center rules.
• Assist with equipment tutorials and safety procedures.
• Attend required staff meetings and trainings.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by Wellness Coordinator/Director.
