Job summary

Portland Community College is accepting applications for a Part-Time Faculty Interest Pool in Welding. The department will review submissions as needs arise for new part-time instructors in welding for the Academic Year. This is not a specific opening, but a pool to consider substitutes and full-term assignments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Five years welding field experience or equivalent teaching/industry training.
• Welding certifications may be required within the first year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Teach welding courses as needed for part-time faculty assignments.
• Be available for substitute assignments and course scheduling as needs arise.
