Part‑Time Faculty – Welding Interest Pool
This is a part‑time faculty interest pool. The department will review applications as new class needs arise. Applicants may be considered for substitute assignments and regular course assignments during the academic year.

Instructor Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Five years of recent welding field experience (or five years of recent teaching experience at the college level, industry training experience, or a combination may be substituted, year for year, for recent welding field experience)
- Welding certifications in all instructional areas required within the first year of hire:
- SMAW E‑7018, 3G and 4G unlimited plate
- GMAW E‑70S6 (hardwire) 2G unlimited plate
- FCAW – Dual Shield E 70 T1, 3G and 4G unlimited plate
- FCAW – Inner Shield E 71 T8, 3G and 4G unlimited plate
- GTAW 2inch Pipe 6G position
- SMAW 6inch Pipe 6G position
Preferred Qualifications
- AAS in Welding Technology
- For part‑time faculty, welding certifications related to teaching assignments are required within the first year of hire, including (but not limited to):
