Job summary

High Hotels is hiring a Part-Time Room Attendant for the SpringHill Suites in Mt Laurel, NJ. You will perform routine housekeeping duties to maintain brand standards and guest satisfaction, with weekends-only shifts Fridays 8:00am-4:30pm, Saturdays and Sundays 9:00am-5:30pm. Starting rate $19.06/hr with potential increases based on experience.

Weekend shifts include a $1/hr premium. Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms and common areas, laundry assistance, linen care, and ensuring guest

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Weekend and holiday availability required.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Willing to support any High Hotels property in the Lancaster, PA area.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms and common areas per brand standards.
• Vacuum carpet and furniture.
• Dust furniture and clean kitchensettes.
• Change bed linens and clean bathrooms.
• Handle high-touch area cleaning.
• Assist in laundry: washing, drying, folding, sorting.
• Maintain linen cart and supplies.
• Ensure security and privacy of guests.

As a Room Attendant for High Hotels LTD, you will be responsible for performing routine duties to ensure that the high standards of cleanliness and service for the hotel and the brand are met. Room Attendants should take pride in providing exceptional guest experiences by ensuring the hotel guest rooms and common areas are properly cleaned and maintained. Room Attendant team members could spend their days in various areas of the housekeeping department including laundry, common area cleaning, and room cleaning.

This position will be located at SpringHill Suites in Mt Laurel, NJ

This is a Part-Time position (weekends only) with the ability to work following schedule: Fridays 8:00am-4:30pm. 9:00am-5:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Please note: shift end times will vary based on occupancy rate and workload.

Weekends include a $1/hr. shift premium!

Starting Rate: $19.06/hr. Potential for increase is based on experience.

Areas Of Responsibility For Our Room Attendants Include

• Cleaning the guest rooms and common areas according to brand standards in the allotted amount of time
• Vacuuming carpet and furniture.
• Cleaning and dusting furniture.
• Cleaning kitchenettes and washing the dishes in suites.
• Changing bed linens.
• Cleaning the guest room bathroom.
• Cleaning high touch areas of the hotel to meet brand standards
• Assisting in the laundry room: washing, drying, folding, and sorting laundry.
• Maintaining the linen cart and ensuring supplies are neatly organized.
• Ensuring the security of guest rooms and privacy of guests.

Our next team-member will ideally possess the following educational and work qualifications:

• A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) preferred.
• The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• The ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20lbs.
• The ability to work in both a team environment and independently.
• The ability to support any property owned by High Hotels, Ltd. in the Lancaster, PA area.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.
