Job Summary

This position is for our weekend swim instructor and client POC. The essential responsibilities include teaching infant swim classes on Saturday mornings (additional lessons possible) and contacting parents via email or phone regarding the swim program. Saturday mornings from 8AM to 11AM are required, with flexible hours the rest of the week.

Work Schedule
  • Saturdays 8AM - 11AM.
  • Part-time hours available during evenings and weekends for punctual, dependable individuals with good communication and customer service skills.
Essential Functions of the Role
  • Assist with program setup, implementation, and cleanup.
  • Instruct and evaluate students in the program.
  • Begin and end classes on time; stay after to answer questions and clean up.
  • Attend mandatory meetings and training.
  • Maintain professional appearance and attitude, providing high customer service standards.
  • Ensure participant safety during classes.
  • Serve as an instructor for one-on-one aquatic fitness training.
  • Act as an on-deck coach.
Key Success Factors
  • Swim team background or WSI certification preferred.
  • Lifeguard certification preferred.
  • Experience working with children and parents.
  • Strong communication skills, especially via phone and email.
  • Availability on Saturday mornings; flexible during the week.
  • Heartsaver AED and CPR/AED certifications required.
