Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking a part-time security officer to work weekends at our Omaha, NE location. The position starts at $20.00 per hour and includes benefits such as medical, dental, vision coverage, and 401(k).

You will monitor premises, patrol, and respond to incidents with a focus on safety and customer service. The ideal candidate is 18+ with a valid driver’s license, able to handle physical duties, and able to pass pre-employment screening including drug and background checks.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic computer usage skills.
• Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security – Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and Accountability.
• Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol premises to prevent unlawful entry, theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Provide security through monitoring of cameras, assess control, and patrols with a security vehicle and on foot.
• Provide hourly patrols of the client location.
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations.
• Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.
• Report any facility issues.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.
