Job summary

Laukoa is seeking Medical Assistants for part-time, weekend roles across New York State to support NYARNG medical readiness programs. Primary duties include event administration, patient flow, and documentation of medical readiness. Training and background checks are required. Travel expenses are covered.

The positions involve administrative and clinical support at multiple NY sites, with HIPAA compliance and strong customer service skills essential. Medical Assistant credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Medical Assistant training or prior medical/clinical support experience preferred.
• Experience obtaining height, weight, and blood pressure preferred.
• Able to work at various NY locations, including military installations.
• Pass required background checks and access requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support PHA event administration for NYARNG.
• Perform check-in, roster verification, and event tracking.
• Assist with patient flow and routing through PHA stations.
• Record height, weight, and blood pressure on SF600.
• Document medical readiness findings and vision results when provided.
• Process PHA/SRP packets and records.
• Maintain confidentiality of Service Member information and HIPAA compliance.
• Complete required training and contract requirements.
