Job summary

Wunderlich-Malec Engineering, Inc. is seeking a part-time IT Helpdesk Support Specialist for weekend shifts in Eden Prairie, MN.

Two 12-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm will support office and field users with phone, email, remote desktop, and desk-side assistance. The role requires experience supporting Windows 10, Office 365, and Apple iOS, plus knowledge of networking and device management.

Qualifications

• Three to Five years of IT experience providing user support in a complex business environment.
• Two+ years experience with Windows 10, Office 365, and Apple iOS.
• Basic understanding of networking and DNS.
• Strong diagnostics for software, OS, and hardware problems.
• Clear written and spoken communication of technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Accept IT support requests, prioritize, diagnose, and drive resolution independently or with Field Support.
• Resolve most requests on first contact when possible.
• Develop and maintain technology standards, equipment, and procedures.
• Maintain standard desktop, laptop, and virtual desktop images.
• Participate in hardware and software rollouts.
• Provide tools, training, or resources to help employees use technology effectively.
• Maintain IT hardware, perform small repairs, and manage spare parts inventory.
• Support mobile devices and manage Microsoft Intune across the company.
• Allocate/purchase new and used devices as needed.
• Contribute to company projects related to technology, equipment, or services.
• Administer user management controls for company software systems.
• Other duties as assigned.
