Dirks Companies, LLC is seeking a reliable Part-Time General Maintenance Technician to support operation, maintenance, and repair of facility systems at a federally contracted ICE residential facility in Alexandria, Louisiana.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in facility maintenance, can safely operate tools, read work orders, and work independently. This on-site role offers a flexible part-time schedule with an hourly rate of $25.00 and the chance to contribute to compliant, safe facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years in facility/building maintenance preferred.
• Ability to safely operate hand/power tools and equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read work orders and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physically demanding work including lifting and standing.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine maintenance and repair of facility systems and structures.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and address concerns.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical, plumbing, and electrical issues.

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Part-Time General Maintenance Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and repair of facility systems and equipment at a federally contracted ICE residential facility located in Alexandria, Louisiana. The ideal candidate will possess experience in general building maintenance, basic repairs, and preventive maintenance while maintaining compliance with all safety and operational standards.

• Ensure compliance with facility safety standards, federal requirements, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Coordinate with facility management regarding repair needs and project priorities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
