Job summary

Purolator International in Memphis, TN is seeking a Part Time Warehouse Support Representative to assist daily warehouse operations. You will process incoming packages and freight and prepare them for outbound shipment to Canada, with duties including packaging, palletizing, pallet jack or forklift operation, and accurate shipment paperwork.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule 5:00pm–9:00pm CST, in a non-climate-controlled environment, with lifting up to 70 lbs, and training on dock

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Flexibility for occasional shift changes during peak season.
• Must be able to work in varying temperature conditions.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, weighing, measuring, scanning, labeling and shipping while adhering to safety, security and customs regulations.
• Load and unload packages from processing stations / trailers.
• Affix labels or placards to packages / pallets.
• Scan boxes from inbound staging area.
• Prepare bill of ladings and cross-train in other warehouse positions.

This is a part time role

The Part Time Warehouse Support Representative position supports daily warehouse operations at our Memphis, TN facility. The main job is to process incoming packages and freight and prepare it for outbound shipment to Canada.

• Package handling
• Preparing and wrapping pallets
• Pallet jack and/or forklift operation
• Shipment paperwork

What To Expect

• Work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment—be prepared for varying temperatures.
• Physical tasks include lifting, moving, and organizing freight, but the pace is not continuous; there are frequent breaks between truck loads during the shift
• Training will cover dock loading procedures, safety protocols, and system workflows.
• Expect a mix of hands-on labor and computer-based tasks, including email communication and Excel reporting.

The schedule for this role is Monday-Friday 5:00pm -9:00pm CST

Although the primary role is helping the warehouse operation to ensure freight is processed appropriately, a problem-solving mindset is required.

Responsibilities

• Cross train in other warehouse positions as needed
• Complete health & safety compliance trainings as required

Experience

• This is a physical, fast-paced position that can involve continual lifting, lowering, and sliding packages that typically weigh 25-35 lbs. and may weigh up to 70 lbs.
• Flexibility for occasional shift change during peak season
• Based on location, forklift experience may be required
• Must be able to work in varying temperature conditions during the seasons

Education
