Job summary

Scholastic, Inc. is seeking Part-Time, Seasonal Power Equipment Operators at our Aurora, CO facility to support warehouse operations and book fairs. You will operate forklifts and stock pickers, maintain inventory accuracy, and follow OSHA and safety rules.

The role offers a 50% merchandise discount and a 401k plan. Shift times start around 3PM, with pay of $21.00 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential after 2PM.

Qualifications

• Experience operating powered equipment (forklifts, stock pickers, Cherry/Stock Picker) preferred.
• Must be trained and licensed to operate power equipment.
• Ability to demonstrate basic product scanner proficiency with minimal errors.
• Strong team player with good communication and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate battery-powered and gas-powered equipment (forklifts, stock pickers) to move inventory.
• Maintain accuracy of inventory movements and perform cycle counts as needed.
• Follow OSHA and safety rules; use required PPE at all times.
• Assist in loading/unloading trucks and seasonal inventory resets as needed.
