Job summary

SI Scholastic Inc. is seeking a Part-time, Seasonal Warehouse Forklift Operator in Nebraska. The role operates on a 4PM–8PM schedule with a 2nd shift pay premium after 2pm.

Primary duties include operating forklifts and related equipment, scanning items, and maintaining inventory accuracy while adhering to safety standards. The position requires forklift training and a minimum of 1 year power equipment experience.

Qualifications

• Must be trained and licensed to operate power equipment.
• Minimum 1 year power equipment operation experience for non-internal promotions.
• Ability to read English safety and procedure documents

Responsibilities

• Operate battery-operated and/or gas-powered equipment to transport products within the facility.
• Operate forklifts, stock pickers, reach trucks and similar equipment as assigned.
• Follow OSHA and facility safety rules at all times.
• Use scanner functions for cycle counts, replenishment, item inquiry and put-away.
• Ensure inventory movement accuracy and proper stacking safety.
• Assist in physical inventory events and loading/unloading tasks when needed.
• Maintain neat, clean, safe work area and report unsafe conditions immediately.
