Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY is seeking a part-time Warehouse Order Picker in Boone, IA to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of store orders. You will locate, select, and prepare products for shipment, using pallet jacks and conveyors as needed.

The role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work Sunday's and Friday mornings, with weekly pay and benefits offered by the employer.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work Sunday and Friday morning shifts 7:30 am–11:30 am, or 7:30 am–4:00 pm.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read and interpret order sheet.
• Able to hear an order from a headset.
• Ability to speak and read English.
• High attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities.
• Basic math skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate motorized pallet jack and powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently in the process of order fulfillment.
• Pick cases (up to 50 pounds) from warehouse locations as indicated on an order sheet or headset; arrange items on a pallet and stage the pallet for loading or place items on a conveyor belt.
• Maintain a level of work productivity as established by warehouse management.
• Keep work area clear of debris, spills, or unsanitary conditions to promote a safe environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
