Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY in Boone, IA is seeking a part-time Warehouse Order Picker to support timely fulfillment of retail store orders. You will locate, select, and prepare products for shipment while adhering to safety and accuracy.

This role includes operating a pallet jack and powered industrial trucks, lifting up to 50 pounds, and maintaining productivity in a fast-paced environment. Shift options evenings and weekends are available with paid training.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to read and interpret order sheets.
Able to hear orders from a headset.
Ability to speak and read English.
High attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities.
Basic math skills are required.

Responsibilities

Operate motorized pallet jack and powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently in the process of order fulfillment.
Pick cases (up to 50 pounds) from warehouse locations as indicated on an order sheet or from a headset; arrange items on a pallet and stage the pallet for loading or place items on a conveyor belt.
Maintain a level of work productivity as established by warehouse management.
Keep work area clear of debris, spills, or unsanitary conditions to promote a safe environment.
Other duties as assigned
