Position Purpose

The Warehouse Operator I is responsible for the safe, daily execution of tasks in the facilities operation. Duties include picking, packing, prepping orders, product assembly, housekeeping, and trash removal and recycling. The role is cross-trained to assist in various areas as needed, with duties varying by site.

Part Time Schedule

Monday-Thursday 7 AM - 12 PM

Primary Responsibilities
  • Timely and accurately picking, packing, and prepping finished goods
  • Operate within Oracle WMS using hand-held scanner
  • Perform 5S activities and general housekeeping duties
  • Follow process for proper handling of inventory to ensure accuracy
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Assist in assembly process
  • Safely operate mechanized wrapping and banding tools and assembly bagger
  • Safely operate the balers to assist in mattress and plastic disposal
Position Requirements
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or pick and pack operation preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Perform all functions of picking, packing, shipping, and assembly operations
  • Work independently or within a team
  • Make process improvement recommendations
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Operate simple hand tools (utility knife, tape gun, etc.)
  • Basic computer skills
Working Conditions
  • Work in a warehouse environment with material handling equipment, moderate noise, temperature fluctuations, and safety equipment use
  • Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds, repetitive bending and twisting
  • Frequent walking and standing (up to 90%)
  • Stand for 8+ hours per shift
  • Work overtime including weekends as required
Compensation
  • Starting Rate $16.25
  • Annual company bonus plan
