Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Part-Time Service Center Warehouse Material Handler - Receiving to ensure products are received, stored, and prepared for shipment. You will operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment, and use our warehouse management system.

In this role you will receive and store incoming material, select, pack, and palletize shipments, and help maintain a safe, clean warehouse environment with daily safety inspections.

Qualifications

• No fear of heights.
• Ability to perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment including lifting, climbing ladders and varying temperatures.
• Must pass pre-employment physical testing.
• 2+ years of experience in a warehouse setting preferred.
• Experience with large warehouse operations and a warehouse management system preferred.
• Steel-toed boots are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts.
• Receive and store incoming material per the warehouse management system.
• Select, pack and palletize shipments.
• Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments; conduct cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse; follow daily safety inspections.
